MSI announced Sandy Bridge equipped laptops during CES 2011

MSI is one of those computer manufacturers that did not fail to announce their new lines of laptop during CES 2011. MSI unveiled a lot of them, and I mean a lot and with Intel's second generation Sandy Bridge processors in them. Head over the break to see what MSI has to offer.

MSI GT780R

The MSI GT780R and the GT680 get the quad-core Intel Core i7 second generation processors (Sandy Bridge) plus Dynaudio Speaker, nVidia GeForce GTX 500 and 400-series GPUs, and dual SSDs.

These two laptops are for the hardcore gamers. But for those who are really not looking for those hardcore specs that these two have then you can either try to check out the MSI GR620 and the GE620 which have lower specs.

MSI GE620

The F-Series will stay with Intel Cores i7, not Sandy Bridges, but gets a switchable nVidia GT 500-series GPUs, expect for the  14" FX420 which gets an Intel Core i5 and the dedicated number pad is gone.

MSI FX720/FR720
MSI's C-Series is said to push up to 8 hours running only with it's batteries. Endgadget reports that MSI is not giving out much information and details with their lines just yet. The MSI GT680 is hitting store shelves this month for $1,500 and the GT780R will be available in Q2 of this year. Hit the source link below to check out MSI's press release via Endgadget.
