Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone gets new videos this time better and it's thick

We've already seen the Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone in a spy video but that really did not reveal a lot. Today, we have two videos that show a more interesting part of the said device. Aside from the fact that it's a bit thick and it runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it's a phone that I think will make it to the market and will definitely sell. Well, at least for those who are PlayStation fans and gaming geeks.

This video shows us that really, the phone is thick. Personally, I don't like thick touchscreen devices. It's like a step backward of the available technology we have right now. I know, that Sony Ericsson can do better than that, in terms of the thickness of it all and that slide out game controller, Sony Ericsson can do better too. But, it may not be the final device that we might be seeing when this device launches and is officially announced. Sony Ericsson though, is expected to announce the device in France on December 9, so I do not think there will be major design changes for this device.

Another thing this video confirms is that the device will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Android OS that is yet to be released too.

The second video below shows the PlayStation Icon which is for the gaming of it all.
