iPhone 5 may get "Radial Menu" feature

By merely looking at that photo you can get the sense what this "Radial Menu" would mean, feel, and look like when it eventually gets into the iPhone or for any iOS device for that matter. The iOS all throughout the years have basically stayed the same, minor tweaks here and there are evidence how efficient the OS is, up to this day.

Apple have applied for a patent for this so called "Radial Menu". Below is a snippet from my source on what Apple is trying to patent, because the radial menu thing is actually not new in OS-es or whatnots, but to make things new and to add a little of Apple touch they have applied for...

“…The novel radial menu techniques of some embodiments include (i) non-uniform spacing of menu items, (ii) the use of shading or highlighting within a region associated with an item to indicate the present selectability of the item, and (iii) the use of radial gestures for opening sub-menus and the subsequent display of the sub-menu.”
This new feature for the iOS is something very new and is set to make the navigation of the said OS a much better experience. Apple fans what do you think about this?
