Samsung Continuum officially announced to hit Verizon stores on November 11

The 7th Galaxy S to make it into the market have been officially announced by Verizon. After some leaked photos of this device arriving at Verizon stores a few days ago, we knew it's really coming very soon. Plus its appearance over at Verizon's Gift page are signs that it's making its final approach to the airport.

And finally it stopped on the tarmac saying I'm coming to you on November 11 and other retail stores will be getting it on the 18th. It is offered by Verizon for $199.99 with a 2-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate.

The phone is the first smartphone or a "mobile phone" for that matter to get a secondary ticker display and that display is using the same technology as it's primary, Super AMOLED. 3.4" of it goes to the primary screen and the secondary gets a 1.8" of that Super AMOLED. Like the other Galaxy S-es, it breathes a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, Android 2.1, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G, 5MP camera with 720p HD video recording, GPS, ans microSD card support (up to 32GB).
