Verizon is really making a lot of news today and as the Holiday season comes ever closer, they have showed a lot in their website. Things that basically confirm rumors. First the Motorola Droid 2 Global, which was rumored and leaked and now, I think, this makes things official. The Motorola Droid 2 Global shows up on Verizon's website along side the Droid X, where's the Droid 2? Nowhere to be found, at least on the "Holiday GIft Ideas" page.

It is also seen in a spec spread sheet comparing it to other Droid devices. I'll take a snippet from Droid Life on the specs that the Droid 2 Global will pack when unveiled or launched.
Motorola Droid 2 Global Specs:

On other Verizon news, the Samsung Continuum shows up too in the page under "Galaxy S class of devices" makes more things solid on the Continuum's side. Rumored to be launched on November 11th and DroidLife's "pretty sure" about it.
