Two new Android powered smartphones by Motorola is available today over at AT&T. The Motorola Bravo and Flipside both run on Android 2.1, unfortunately, when shipped. Both were announced over a month ago and today is the day they get to meet the people who are interested for their purchase.
First, we have the Motorola Bravo, which will retail for $429 or at $129.99 on contract. The Bravo sports a 3.7" (480 x 854) touch screen display, 800MHz TI OMAP processor, 512MB of RAM, supports microSD card for up to 32GB of storage, a 1540 mAh battery that will theoretically power the device for up to 6 hours of talktime, MotoBlur (Motorola's UI), WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, and is "FOTA capable - upgrade firmware over the air". So, I can safely say that an Android 2.2 Froyo update is expected. You can get the Motorola Bravo over at AT&T's online store.
Then the Motorola Filpside is a bit cheaper compared to the Bravo. The Flipside with retail for $399.99 or at $99.99 with a 2-year contract. The main difference between the two, aside from the design, is that the Flipside features a slideout QWERTY keyboard, it comes with a 2GB of preinstalled memory with microSD card support (upto 32GB), and it has a 3.1" (320 x 480) touch screen display. Get your Motorola Flipside online at AT&T's online store.
