Acer have announced their newest 3D monitor that will give you more reasons why you need to wear active-shutter glasses. The Acer HS244HQ features a 1080p 23.6" screen that packs a 120Hz refresh rate and a 12,000,000:1 contrast ratio with LED backlight. No word for pricing for this meaty monitor though and when it will be available so let's just wait for future updates.
Now let us go over to the 3D laptop that the title is talking about. Acer's AS5745DG 3D laptop is a "high cost-performance model". The laptop features a 15.6" screen powered by nVidia's GeForce GT425M, a 2.53GHz Intel Core i5-460M processor, 4GB of RAM, 640GB of HD space, and a 120Hz with those glasses for 3D, of course. This laptop is pegged at 100,000 Japanese Yen, about $1,200 and will be shipped by December 2011.
