Sure enough, Sprint does not sell or offer the iPad or the iPhone to their customers but Sprint CEO Dan Hesse still thanked the iPad. But why? Head over the break to know why.
Sprint might not be selling the iPad but sure enough the sale of iPads increased their sales of something else. Dan Hesse, pointed out that the best selling iPad in the bunch is the iPad WiFi version, this increased Sprint's sales of it's Overdrive 3G/4G which is a mobile wireless hotspot (MiFi). People used Sprint's Overdrive MiFi device to get WiFi mobility wherever they go with their iPad. Pretty neat stuff going on at Sprint, with the people's overwhelming response to the launching of the iPad, surely, Sprint will need thank the tablet for it.
