Panasonic launched convertible Toughbook CF-C1

I don't know about you but when Panasonic comes into my mind, I do not associate it with laptops. But I have known Panasonic as a company who is also into the laptop industry with their famous Toughbooks. Used by scientists specially when they are in the field researching and gathering data from nature and what not. I always see their Toughbooks in Discovery Channel and Natgeo. I told my self, maybe this laptop might really be a tough one.

Anyway, the company have launched their latest Toughbook into the market, the CF-C1. Its not just your ordinary Toughbook, with good specs and the toughness of it all but its a convertible notebook. Convertible in a sense that it features a resistive touch screen display that can recognize gloved presses, which is something new in the world of resistive touchscreeens, and the screen can be swiveled to become a tablet. It packs a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 processor (CPU) .Aside from the CPU, Panasonic includes a 2 year accidental damage warranty which covers non-traditional work environments. It has different hard drive options to suit your need and connectivity features, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, 3G, and Bluetooth 2.1. This "lightweight, business rugged convertible notebook" might be the ultimate outdoor/business and the all terrain notebook for you. It is available in the UK for £1,709 ($2,700).
