Acer is set to launch the Acer Liquid E Ferrari Edition in the Philippines this coming Friday. Reports say that during that launching they will also unveil other Acer smartphones. But our attention is with this phone with the Prancing Horse's livery. For the local Ferrari Fans out there this is the phone for you. Unfortunately, it seems the local spotlight won't be able to shine on that Motorola Droid 2 (Ferrar). Well, the Liqued E Ferrari Edition would go well with you Acer Ferrari One, wouldn't it?
The Ferrari Edition features the same innards as the regular Acer Liquid E Android 2.1 smartphone. A 1GHz 768MHz Qualcomm 8250 Snapdragon CPU, a 5MP camera, 3.5 inch touch screen display plus with Acer's special Ferrari enhancements. The enhancements include a Ferrari wallpaper, a special set of Ferrari engine ringtones and a light weight Ferrari design that makes the phone 135g heavy, light, I mean.
No mention of how much the device will cost here in the Philippines, we need to wait for Acer's official launching of the phone for us to know. That's this coming Friday (Oct. 22, 2010)
