Toshiba outs Satellite L635 for kids!

Toshiba and Best Buy are partners in releasing the Toshiba Satellite L635 Kids' PC. Its specs does not even resemble of being a kids' laptop, not at all.


It's a 13.3-inch netbook with a "gender neutral" grey color and a neon green accent. It packs an Intel Celeron P4600 dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM. 250GB of storage and a DVD drive and it runs on Windows 7. What sets this netbook as a kids's netbook, aside from pre-intalled software for kids, is that it has a rubberized and a wipeable keyboard.

It will be available exclusively at Best Buy on September 26 and will be priced at $499.
