Apparently, as the name suggests it to be, the Galaxy Tab 2 devices of Samsung are here to succeed over the first Galaxy Tabs. In the Philippines, Samsung has made it official that two of them are here in the Philippines. These are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 WiFi and 3G variants and the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Samsung Philippines are giving these devices these corresponding SRPs: For the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 WiFi-only it's Php 12,990, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 3G-enabled at Php 16,99, and last but not the least, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is priced at Php 22,990. Just click on each of the device's names to check their specs.

French company, Archos, has announced their newest Android tablet dubbed as the Archos 97 Carbon. Actually the Carbon is the first of their Elements line of devices, probably tablets. Anyway, let's turn our attention back to the 97 Carbon. The device runs on Andriod 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is being positioned by Archos as an entry-level tablet. Well, you'll get the entry-level sense of it all when I list its specs after the break. Archos said that the 97 Carbon will be available in the US starting this month for $249.99. In the British market, you'll get the device for £219.99.

AUS: Android 4.0 ICS update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 rolls out
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has started receiving the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the Australian market. But a note to those who owns the WiFi-Only version of the tablet, this update is only available for the 3G-enabled variant. AusDroid says that the WiFi-Only version's own share of update should come by next week or even earlier (which everyone would love to happen). I am made to believe that the update is OTA so if you are an owner of the Galaxy Tab 7.7, try manually checking for a software update. For markets outside Australia, you might also want to check out your Tab 7.7s. It might have the update too!

USA: Verizon to officially launch the Samsung Galaxy S III in July 10 for $199.99 (16GB)
Aside from announcing, officially, the launching of the Droid Incredible 4G LTE, the US' largest carrier also announced that their Samsung Galaxy S III will be available starting July 10. Two versions of the superphone will be available, the 16GB and the 32GB. The price you read in this post's title is for the 16GB. The 32GB SGS III will be priced at $249.99 both with a 2-year contract. Like the Droid Incredible 4G LTE, Verizon's SGS III will also be a 4G LTE device and is the US' first 2GB RAM smartphone (unless LG launches their own 2GB RAM smartphone in the US ahead of Samsung). Since the device will feature 4G LTE connectivity, it won't carry the quad-core Samsung Exynos processor instead it will be sporting a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset.
