Skype 5.8 for Windows released comes with full HD video calling

Skype has released Skype 5.8 for Windows a few days ago and is now available for download. What this version of Skype brings to users is, the most notable, is full HD video calling. That, of course, depends if your PC has an HD camera and if your internet connection permits you to do so. Also, this version of Skype makes Facebook integration deeper on the Windows platform which means, video calling your friend on Facebook using Skype for Windows is now possible. It was first seen on Mac. Update your Skype apps now by clicking through Help > Check for updates. You can also download the latest version of Skype 5.8 for Windows (direct download link from Skype.com).

For those who have Skype Premium or those who wants to subscribe to it an additional feature is available for you called the Group Screen Sharing. For more information about updates to Skype Premium users head over here.
