[Update] LG officially unveils the Optimus Vu with a 5" display - the Samsung Galaxy Note killer

LG has officially unveiled the Optimus Vu in South Korea. This device was first leaked via a video that was in Korean, solidifying LG's effort to combat it's arch rival, Samsung. The Optimus Vu is clearly a Galaxy Note challenger, sporting a 5" IPS touchscreen display which is a bit smaller than that of Samsung's offering (which is at 5.3"). The device will be first available in the Korean market in early March from SK Telecom and LG+.

The Optimus Vu will be showcased in Barcelona during the MWC 2012, so probably by that time we'd be able to get the device's full detailed specs. So far, officially, these are what LG provided us from the press release (in Korean).
