Twitter have started rolling out a new web app for their mobile Twitter site. The web app is aimed to bring a consistent and rich Twitter experience to high-end mobile touchscreen devices even if they do not have their official apps. Imagine the Twitter for iPhone app turned upside down and that is how the web app would look like. Twitter have provided screenshots of the said app. Head over the break to view them.

Today, the new web app is currently rolled out to a "small percentage" of users of the iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android smartphones. Twitter will be rolling this new app to more devices in the "coming weeks".
