Paid Android apps now accessible globally

During Google I/O the company from Mountain View, California, have officially made paid Android Apps accessible/available for purchase globally via the Android Market website and from the Android Market App. This post will focus more in the Philippines but I believe the same concept will follow to all the other countries too.

There will be 99 countries that are granted access to the collection of paid Android apps and luckily the Philippines is included in that 99. Of course, you know what this means right? More apps from the Android Market.
"With the addition of the Philippines, the number of countries where Android users can purchase priced apps will increase to 131. Consumers from these newly supported countries will now have access to over 200,000 free and paid apps in Android Market, which they can access directly from their Android-powered device. Apps will be priced in US Dollars, and can be bought through Google Checkout, which supports local Mastercard and Visa credit cards." - Techie
So, what are you waiting for? Head over to http://market.android.com or tap on your Android Market apps on your devices and discover a wider selection of applications from the market and enjoy!
