The Xperia Arc is the successor of the Xperia X10 by Sony Ericsson. The device was announced back at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas and packs new technologies from Sony like the Exmor camera sensor and the mobile Sony Bravia Engine.
In March 11 - 13 at the SM Megatrade Hall 1, Sony Ericsson will be allowing people to pre-order the device. Unfortunately, SE's presser did not mention the exact date when the device will be available or will start shipping. Also, the presser did not reveal the price of the handset. You might say, why would I be pre-ordering a device if I do not know the price? Well, I'm pretty certain that SE will be announcing how much the device will cost at the place where the pre-orders will be happening.
To give you a refresher, the Xperia Arc's specs are listed below.
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 8.7mm thinnest part
- 4.2" multi-touch screen display (854 x 480 FWVGA)
- Reality Display with Bravia® Engine
- 8.1 MP with Sony's Exmor R for mobile camera sensor
- HD video recording
- WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, HDMI, DLNA, USB Port,
- 3.5mm headset jack
- Size: 125 x 63 x 8.7 mm
- Weight: 117 grams
