HTC Ignite a Windows Phone 7 device gets leaked

Last but definitely not the least of the three HTC handsets that got leaked is the HTC Ignite. The HTC Pyramid runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the HTC Prime runs on Windows Phone 7, and the HTC Ignite will also be running on Windows Phone but this time without the physical sliding QWERTY keyboard.

According to xda.cn the phone will be launched by HTC in the middle of 2011 running on Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 ecosystem. The phone is also reported to pack an 800MHz Qualcomm processor, a 3.7" resistive (what?) touchscreen display, 512MB of RAM, and a 5MP rear facing camera with autofocus and LED flash.

Yes, something is really fishy, right? That resistive display and the 800MHz processor is forbidden in the Windows Phone 7 world. BGR also points out whether HTC actually makes phones that features a resistive display? Oh well, this is also an unconfirmed report so we will just be waiting when the phone gets official. By then the real specs of the device should come with it.
