The official Twitter app for BlackBerry gets an update. Twitter for BlackBerry v1.1 Beta is now available via the BlackBerry Beta Zone. More features are added into the app, most notably geotagging. Other features include "Push @ Mention", Chat Style Messages, & autocompletion of hashtags.
Add your location with your tweets with the geotagging feature that has been added into the app. Aside from that they have also made sending messages on the app feel just like chatting. Push notifications for @mentions is also added on the new version. You can choose whether you wanted to be notified if you are mentioned or not if you opt to be notified it will be through the BlackBerry Push technology. Lastly, the hashtag autocomplete feature which is very self explanatory.
How to get this version? BlackBerry requires you to be a member of their BlackBerry Beta Zone before you'll be able to try this new version out. Go ahead, head over to the Beta Zone and sign up and be a member.
