[Local] 2nd Generation Intel Core processors now available in the Philippines

Back at CES 2011 Intela have showered the world with their 2nd generation Intel Cores, those Sandy Brigdges, that feature a new architecture in the chip's design offering you better performance compared to the first gen iCores. In the Philippines though, Intel have already announced the processors, and my source have seen hem in stores already, well at least some of them.

YugaTech reports that PC Express have revealed that availability of two of them cores are already in stock at their store.

First is the Intel Core i5-2400 available for P9,200:

• 3.1 GHz clockspeed
• 6 MB Intel Smart Cache
• 32 nm lithography
• 4 cores
• 4 threads
• Intel Turbo Boost Technology 
• Max frequency of 3.4 GHz
• Embedded Intel HD Graphics
• Max TDP of 95 watts

And we have the Intel Core i7-2600 available for P14,200:

• 3.4 GHz clockspeed
• 8 MB Intel Smart Cache
• 32 nm lithography
• 4 cores
• 8 threads
• Intel Turbo Boost Technology
• Max frequency of 3.8 GHz
• Embedded Intel HD Graphics
• Max TDP of 95 watts
