Yup, you read the title right! iPhone's global market share surpassed that of BlackBerry's. 77 million of smartphones were shipped all over the world in the 3rd quarter of 2010, according to StrategyAnalytics. Apple shipped 14.1 million iPhones while BlackBerry shipped 12.1 million. Good news for Apple bad for RIM because 12.1 is actually a drop of 16.1% in sales as compared to the previous quarter, ouch! Nokia, after reporting an all-time high in sales, still remains way out in the front with 26.5 million shipments. Despite Nokia's 26.5 million units of sales, this was still a 3% drop while the iPhone went up by 18.3%.
