Russia has an answer to that. Russia with their local telecommunication firm, Yota, will be creating a one of a kind smartphone. The catch? It has two screens not to mention its 4G. So the dual screen idea does not end on netbooks like the Toshiba Libretto and what Acer is rumored to be creating.
The photo doesn't show too much of the smartphone so below will be a video where Russian President Dmitri Medvedev and state technology official Sergei Chemezov are talking about the smartphone. Now once you click on play please continue watching the video, although you will not understand what they are talking about, but rest assured that the mock up of the device will be shown.
So this might be the future of the smartphones, phones that have two screens now I think and to make the device perfect they should make the two screen touchable. And as a suggestion, they should incorporate a technology where if the phone is facing you the back screen should automatically shut down, not literally turn off but the touch functionality of it, if both are touch screens, should at least be barred.
The Russians now how to show off their technology, don't they? I hope this gets realized.
