AUS: Samsung Galaxy Nexus now available for pre-order over at Vodafone Australia
Vodafone Australia is now accepting pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the world's first smartphone to sport the latest version of Android, Android 4.0 ICS. I dont really understand the pricing of Vodafone here, but the webpage says that the phone will be available at $5 on the $59 Cap. Vodafone Australia, I believe, is the first carrier in Australia that offers the said smartphone on pre-order. Probably they will be the first to launch the device. So for those who wants to be one of the first to own a Galaxy Nexus, head over to the Vodafone Store and pre-order yours now.

AUS: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 coming soon to Australia
Australia was one of those countries who were able to sell the thicker version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 (10.1v). The UK was the other known country to get it. Vodafone UK have already announced that they will soon be offering the thinner Galaxy Tab 10.1. It would be logical for Australia to follow suit. Viola! Vodafone Australia puts the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in their July catalog with a big red "Coming Soon" tag.

AUS: [Update: Now on pre-orders & pricing announced] Samsung to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v in Australia on May 4th
[Update] Vodafone Australia is now accepting your pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v. Head over now to their website and get your pre-orders in place. You can also check out the prices and the plans that you can get with the device.
Before we head over to the main point of this post let me just explain some stuff you might have not know yet. There were two types of Galaxy Tab 8s and 10s that got announced. One is the Tabs that were unveiled and introduced during the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Spain. The second Tabs were introduced during CTIA 2011 in Orlando, Florida. So what's difference between the two of them? Aside from the fact that at the MWC 2011, Samsung only announced the 10-inch tablet while in CTIA 2011, the company announced the 8-inch tablet along side the revamped 10-incher. After a few days or so, Samsung renamed the larger tablet announced during MWC 2011 from Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1v (click for more info).
