Internet Explorer 9.0.8 update now available in Windows Update

Microsoft has pushed the July 2012 cumulative update for their browser and is now available in Windows Update. For those who have set their Windows Update to automatically download and install any updates then chances are that your Internet Explorer is already running on it's latest version which is 9.0.8. For those who have not, you can manually check updates and install it. Anyway, the update brings in bug fixes and security updates, you know those normal or routine updates that browsers usually push to users. For more information about this, head over here. Cheers!

Internet Explorer 9.0.6 update

Microsoft has released a cumulative security update to Internet Explorer which will bring the browser's version up to 9.0.6. The update, as what it is being called, will bring in security fixes. If you wish to get more information about the update head over here. The update is now available via Windows Update. So, for those who are running on the Windows OS, Windows Update should notify you about this or if not, you can manually check it by clicking through the Start Button > Control Panel > Windows Update > and then check for updates.

Internet Explorer 9.0.5 now available via Windows Update

Internet Explorer gets an update that brings the browser's version to 9.0.5. The update is minor, it will not make your IE 9 turn to IE 10, apparently. The update is administered to fix some issues with security and vulnerabilities. For those who have Internet Explorer you can get the update via Windows Update. Click through Start > Control Panel > Windows Update.

IE 9.0.4 now available via Windows Update

IE 9.0.4 is now available for download via Windows Update. I am not sure if you will get this version of the browser when download it from the download page over at Microsoft. Anyway, the update is released to bring in security fixes which they termed as severe vulnerabilities of IE. For those who are running on Windows, you should have the update ready for installation already (or if you set Windows Update to automatically download and install update, then you probably have this already). Just hit the Windows Update icon on your system try or head over to Control Panel > Windows Update and download then install IE 9.0.4

Internet Explorer 9 updated to 9.0.3

Internet Explorer 9.0.3 is now available over at Windows Update. This update to Microsoft's own web browser  is their cumulative security update. That means that this will bring in security vulnerability resolutions to your IE 9. Anyway, I won't dwell with this, because, Microsoft is talking gibberish on their blog. So, even if this post is a bit late, for those who still has not updated their IE 9s head over to Control Panel > Windows Update > and install the update that has something to do with Internet Explorer 9. That should bring your IE 9 to version 9.0.3 like mine.

IE 9 downloaded 2.3 million times within 24 hours of it's RTM release

IE 9 RTM was released on Monday (March 14) night. Although the update is not yet available via Windows Update, or is it already? The browser already garnered 2.3 million downloads withing the span of 24 hours from the time it got released.

Microsoft releases IE 9 RTM (Final release) - now available for download

Microsoft released the RTM (Release To Manufacturing) version of the Internet Explorer 9 right on time! The browser is now available for download over at the IE9 page. Of course, this update/version comes with the final polishing that the Release Candidate needs.

Microsoft announces the Final Release of IE9 in March 14th

When the Internet Explorer 9 RC was released and is available for download I was wondering when will Microsoft release the browser's final version? Well, I think the answer to that is on this post. From the time of it's announcement IE9 RC have already been downloaded 11 million times. That only goes to show that the population who still uses the browser, including me, is ready for the final release to become available.

Yes, Microsoft wants IE6 to be totally gone. It's logical, the browser is already in it's 9th version, IE6 seriously needs to get out from the world. Hence, Microsoft launched the ie6countdown.com. So what is this all about? 

Internet Explorer 9 RC gets downloaded 11 million times

Since the day it was released, in February 10th, the IE9 Release Candidate was downloaded 11 million times. Windows Team Blog also took note that both IE8 and IE9 grew in terms of it's global market share. The IE9 browser, including the Beta version, has been download 36 million times.

Microsoft releases the IE9 Release Candidate! Now available for download

Microsoft have finally released the Release Candidate of their Internet Explorer 9! It is now available for download over at the Internet Explorer 9 webpage. It may not be the RTM (Release To Manufacturing) version of the browser but the RC (Release Candidate) is the most complete version of the browser and basically won't change in the final build except for some bug fixes that will be found later on. If you have abandoned Internet Explorer a long time ago then I know that you would not even dare go to the download page of the browser. Anyway, there is no harm in trying.

Microsoft to launch Internet Explorer 9 RC on February 10th

Microsoft's Internet Explorer, although still the most used browser in the world, is clinging on to it's top spot as the queen of web browsing. Hopes with the browser are still high up there and personally, I believe in Microsoft's capability to give as a browser that will truly compete with Google Chrome, Firefox, or Opera.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 gets downloaded 20 million times

When the latest browser offering from Microsoft was launched back in September, the Internet Explorer 9 got a good welcome from the downloading public. Just 2 days from it's public release the browser got 2 million downloads right away. So when will IE ever stop it's reign for being the most used browser in the world? I think it will never. Before 2010 have ended and 2011 came in, Microsoft saw 20 million downloads of the IE9 beta. 

20 million might not really be enough since that only takes 0.46% of the global market for browsers. The real meat is that IE (regardless of the version) is the most used browser in the world. Head over to NetMarketShare to check the statistics out.

Microsoft's Internet Explorer 9 now ready for download

The long wait has finally come to an end. Microsoft's Internet Explorer 9 is now ready to be at your service! Its still on its Beta phase though but that's ok, its still IE9.

I won't do any review of this browser unless I will have the chance to compare browsers. I will surely post my own rantings and blahness about this browser in due time.
