Acer, prior to IFA 2013, has unveiled two new Android devices to be added into their growing portfolio of mobile devices. The first is the Acer Liquid S2 Android smartphone. The phone is said to be launched in Europe come October and is marketed for those who wants to own an Android smartphone but is on a budget. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and sports a 6" Full HD display. The other device they announced is the Acer Iconia A3, apparently, an Android tablet also running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It sports a 10.1" display and is scheduled to be launched in Europe in October too.

Acer's first phablet the Acer Liquid S1
Acer has announced their first phablet device dubbed as the Acer Iconia Liquid S1. The phablet sports a 5.7" display powered by a quad-core processor. The phablet seems to be the company's first Android 4.2 device, if I am not mistaken. Acer expects the Liquid S1 to be shipped starting Q3 of 2013 in France, Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, Russia, the UK, and in Germany. The device has a dual-sim variant which will entirely depend on the market the device will be sold. As for pricing Acer gave it an SRP of 349 euros.

Acer unveiled the Acer Iconia W3 Windows 8 tablet
The world's first 8-inch Windows 8 tablet was announced by Acer and is dubbed as the Acer Iconia W3. Being the world's first 8-incher W8 tablet it might own the market for a while before anybody else out there with another 8-incher. In terms of design, I believe Acer did a brilliant job with W3 and it sitting on that keyboard dock, stunning. According to GSMArena, the device will be launched starting June in the UK (base on the currency the blog used). Prolly it will also be launched somewhere else on the same month.

Acer announced the Liquid E1
Acer, that phone manufacturer that keeps on churning out mid-range smartphones, has announced the Liquid E1. This is another of Acer's mid-range smartphones that run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Now since this is a mid-range device, expect the price to be lower than those high-end devices but also, expect the specs to be not so stellar.

Acer announced the Iconia B1
At CES 2013, Acer is still in the tablet game of it all with their announcement of the Acer Iconia B1. It is poised to be the most inexpensive Android tablet you can buy with a brand on it (you, know a brand almost everyone knows). Acer did not say anything about its price though, unfortunately. Lastly, do not think that the Iconia B1 does not pack a punch when it comes to specs because it will be priced as low as Acer can put it.

Acer's Iconia Tab A700, the tablet that runs on Andriod 4.0 ICS out of the box the time it was for sale, has now started receiving its 4.1 Jelly Bean update. According to PocketNow, the update is rolling out globally and should be administered OTA. The update, like any other update, should make your Iconia Tab A700 experience a lot smoother and a lot faster. So for those who bought one, check your tablets now if you already have the update ready for installation.

UK: The Acer Liquid Glow now available in the UK for £147.99
The Acer Liquid Glow Android smartphone is now available in the UK for £147.99. This is thanks to Expansys UK who is selling the device for that price and in white or black. The Liquid Glow, to remind you, was announced during MWC 2012 and from then on, we never heard about it until now. I still do not have any idea what the smartphone packs, aside from those few specs I got from Acer so if you go ahead over the break, the specs are there.

Acer showcases the Iconia Tab A110 and A210 at Computex 2012
At Computex 2012, Acer had these two tablets on display at their booth. No news was said about them but Endgadget was able to find them sitting pretty on their racks. The Acer Iconia Tab A110 and the A210, by the looks of how they named these tablets, seem to be the successor of the Iconia Tab A100 and the Tab A200. The showcased tablets both pack the nVidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor. The A210 is a 10" device while the A110 is a 7-incher. Since the tablets were not given the proper intro treatment, I still do not have the complete detailed specs of them both so, we better wait until Acer officially launch these two devices.

Acer announced at Computex 2012 the Acer Iconia W700 (11.6") & the Acer Iconia W510 (10.1") Windows 8 tablets
Acer has announced two normal tablets at Computex 2012, these are the Acer Iconia W700 and the Iconia W510. The W700 is Acer's largest tablet so far with a display that measures 11.6". Both tablets run on Windows 8. Continuing with the W700, it packs a full HD display (1920x1080) display, HDMI ports, a dock that turns the tablet into a "desktop replacement", USB 3.0, and all the necessary wireless connectivity you expect from a tablet.

Acer Aspire S7 unveiled at Computex 2012
Acer has unveiled the Acer Aspire S7 during the Computex 2012 event. This device, apparently, an ultrabook is, personally, beautiful. I love it's design and the white color of it, it's just pretty. The Aspire S7 comes in either an 11-inch version or a 13-incher and apparently runs on Windows 8. This ultrabook from Acer has a bit of a unique feature which you cannot really find in other ultrabooks out there. It has the capability to be turned 180 degrees and can theoretically turn into a tablet of sorts.

MWC 2012: Acer Liquid Glow with Android 4.0 ICS announced
Acer, ahead of MWC 2012, has announced a new Android smartphone adding to their Liquid line of devices. Dubbed as the Acer Liquid Glow, the smartphone was designed with style in mind, I am pretty sure about that. Anyway, Acer will be showcasing this device at Barcelona. The Liquid Glow, does not actually glow in the dark but it sure glows in the sense that it is running on Android 4.0 ICS and is positioned in the mid-range price range and targeted for the social-networking youth.

World's thinnest Ultrabook the Acer Aspire S5 with Thunderbolt port [CES 2012]
Acer announced the world's thinnest Ultrabook that measures only 15mm at it's thickest point. The Acer Aspire S5 was shown off at CES 2012 and thankfully, Acer has stayed away from making a MacBook Air or Pro copy. The laptop is a 13-incher and at only 15mm thin this is a laptop fan's device. The Aspire S5 sports a 13.3" display enclosed in an magnesium-aluminum alloy, an HDMI/USB/Thunderbolt ports (amazing!), and an SDD. Since it sports a Thunderbolt port, it is officially the first Ultrabook to one which is actually nice and a very good strategic move for Acer. Head over the break to read Acer's official press release.

Acer shows off the Iconia Tab A510 with Android 4.0 ICS and an nVidia Tegra 3 processor [CES 2012]
Acer did not only show off the Iconia Tab A700 at CES 2012 but they also came with the A501 which is also a quad-core tablet. The A510 is an apparent successor to the Taiwanese company's A500 tablet. Since it succeeds its older brother it means this device will have more power to it, true enough it sports nVidia's latest mobile chipset technology with quad-core awesomeness in it and of course Android's latest version, 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
