The Sony Acro S another waterproof and dustproof Android device from Sony Mobile

Next is the Sony Xperia Acro S. The Acro S, unlike the Xperia go, has a different and I should say a lower certification when it comes to the device's waterproof and dustproof prowess. But the same idea is their only that the Acro S gets an IP55 and an IP57 rating. The Acro S is also the better when it comes to specs between the two and is the larger. Sony Mobile has been selling the Acro S in the Japanese market back in March and apparently now the smartphone will be available globally. The Xperia Acro S is probably the company's first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device since it will be running on the said version of the platform right from the box.

Sony Mobile announces their first waterproof and dustproof smartphone - The Sony Xperia go

Sony Mobile ain't done yet with new phones still spewing out their production line. Two new Android smartphones from the young company has been announced. One is their first waterproof, scratch resistant, and dustproof Android smartphone dubbed as the Sony Xperia go. The smartphone is so tough it actually gets IP67 certification and proof of that toughness can be seen in the smartphone's first promotional video you can watch at the end of this post. The Xperia go will be a globally available device and will launch in the US under the name of the Xperia Advance. Unfortunately, Sony Mobile did not give us any exact dates on when the smartphone will actually be available in markets. But the Xperia go is scheduled to launch in the 3rd quarter of 2012. Lastly, the Xperia go, like all of the NXT line of devices from the company will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is upgradeable to Android 4.0.

For pricing, I think it'd be best to check your nearest retailer or network carrier.

Toshiba announced the Toshiba AT300 Android 4.0 ICS tablet

Toshiba officially announced their newest baby in their Android tablet line of devices, the Toshiba AT300. This thin tablet runs on Android 4.0 ICS and is probably the successor to the Toshiba AT200? The AT200, by the way, was Toshiba's thinnest tablet but not this one. At 8.8mm thin, the AT300 still rocks a thin profile and that beautiful aluminum body, this is a tablet that is aimed for those who are design conscious, I think. Pocketlint is pegging the launch date of the tablet sometime in June and will be priced in the UK at £329 for the 16GB and for £379 for the 32GB.

By the way, Smart says that the device should start shipping by June. Globe on the other hand makes no saying on when the device will arrive.

USA: Amazon puts the Galaxy S III up for pre-order for $799.99 unlocked

The Samsung Galaxy S III has gone up for pre-order in the US via Amazon. Unfortunately though, it's the international Galaxy S III that was showcased back in MWC 2012. What that means is that the device Amazon is letting you pre-order is the one that sports the Samsung Exynos  quad-core chipset which further means that it will not work with the 4G LTE network that almost all US carrier have. Samsung has announced back in MWC 2012 that the US will get their own Galaxy S III specifically designed to work with the country's LTE network. You can head over at Amazon and check it out for yourself. The device is available in either Blue or White.

IND: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and the Galaxy S III are now available for pre-orders in India

The Galaxy S III on the other hand is priced over at the same eStore at Rs. 2000. That probably is a typographical error on their part of I do not know what.

LG shows off their Android 4.0 UI - the LG Optimus 3.0

LG has introduced their new user interface for their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich devices. Well, at least now, LG is already in the UI competition of it all. I don't know about you but LG, with their previous devices prior to Android 4.0 ICS, was not clear about their UIs or better known as the Android overlay or better still Android Skins. Back then, LG's UIs on devices were different with ever handset they introduce. I hope that this announce will finally make it more uniformed and that by simply looking at the UI, we will immediately recognize the device as an LG.

Unfortunately, the carrier did not mention at what plan the device will come free. Currently, you really can't do anything on that page aside from looking at that beautiful photo of the phone. The company has already been updating and updating their customers on when the Android 4.0 update will start arriving and up to know, that has yet to happen. Other mobile makers are currently busy in pushing and Sony seems to be a bit late in this department, the updates. They were the first to push Android 2.3 Gingerbread on their older lines of device, back then when they were still Sony Ericsson. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed with this one though. Everyone who bought a Sony smartphone wants their devices to be up to date and at par with the others, right?

No words yet on how much the device will officially be priced and no word too on where exactly in Europe this device will first make landfall. Anyway, head over the break to check out it's specs.

The Curve 9320/9220 is aimed to those who are inclined with BBM or other social networking sites. The device actually has a dedicated BBM key! Within RIM's press release, no word about pricing nor when the device will actually launch is present. They just said this, "Pricing and availability of the BlackBerry Curve 9320 will beannounced in conjunction with RIM’s distribution partners."

Verizon has officially announced the HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE and will launch in the "coming weeks". Verizon did not state for much the smartphone would cost but according to reports it should be priced at $299.99 on contract. The Droid Incredible 4G LTE apparently gets a design update from the smartphone it succeeds, the HTC Droid Incredible. This device is, personally, sleeker and simpler than it's predecessor. Also, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
