Remember this phone? That sleek and very modern looking smartphone from Samsung? It was first leaked and then was finally announced by Verizon. The phone is Samsung's first announced 4G LTE device which features a 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus display and will be running on Android 2.2 Froyo. When the device was announced, though, it did not have a name with it aside from Verizon calling it the Samsung 4G LTE smartphone.

Samsung SCH-i520 Android 4G LTE smartphone with Super AMOLED Plus display comes to Verizon
The recently leaked/rumored, unnamed smartphone from Samsung finally gets official but is still unnamed or is it? Verizon calls it the Samsung 4G LTE, so that might be it's official name. Nevertheless, the Samsung SCH-i520 (Samsung 4G LTE) is a 4G LTE capable smartphone fit for the Verizon network. Verizon has not given an exact date of the smartphone's availability and the price. But what they have said is that the handset will be available "in the middle of 2011". Head over the break for the device's specs.

Samsung SCH-I5210 LTE smartphone photoed going over at Verizon
Whenever I read/hear the abbreviation LTE, which is as far as I know a 4G network that Verizon is trying to advertise for some time now. I might be wrong in saying that LTE is yet to be Verizon's version of Sprint's 4G network but whatever the real score is, LTE is really coming into town.
