AUS: LG launches its L series Android devices in Australia


The South-Korean phone maker, LG, has officially launched their L series Android devices in the Australian market. The devices are the LG Optimus L7, Optimus L5, and the Optimus L3. But there are actually 4 devices that was launched together with those 3, it's a dual-SIM Android smartphone dubbed as the LG Optimus L2 . We already know what the L7, L5, and the L3 is I have already posted about those devices. What is new to me is the Optimus L2 dual-SIM.

UK: Clove UK starts selling the LG Optimus L7 for £238.80


Clove UK has announced that they already received the stocks of the LG Optimus L7. The L7 is one of the L series of Android smartphones. Anyway, Clove UK is offering the LG Optimus L7 for £238.80 (VAT inlcuded) unlocked. For those of you in the UK that wants to own one, head over at Clove UK to check out the offer. As a refresher, the LG Optimus L7 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and sports a 4.3" display with a 1GHz processor. This is a decent Android device for those who are on a budget and it is probably categorized as a mid-range device.

LG launches the LG Optimus L7 in Europe


Announced during MWC 2012, the LG Optimus L7 sees daylight again as LG announces its availability in Europe and Asia. For the pricing though, I suggest you check with your local retailers for the exact price of the device. But as previously rumored, the L7 will cost somewhere in the range of €300 but of course that varies between markets. As of today, the smartphone is available through select markets across Europe and Asia. Head over here to read on LG's full press release (you need a translator because the PR is in Korean). LG announces Optimus L Series smartphones - Optimus L7, L5, & L3


I know you can all smell the rivalry in the air days before MWC 2012, right? Samsung has been announcing devices here and there, the latest being the Galaxy Ace 2 and Mini 2, LG, it's arch rival, also has been announcing devices like the Optimus Vu and the Optimus LTE Tag. But LG ain't stopping there, they don't want to bore you at MWC 2012, hence they announced the Optimus L series Android smartphones that will surely be showcased and further detailed in Barcelona.
