The Amazon App Store for Android is reported to be finally available outside the US market. That means that Android users that are not in the US can now download the app store from here. According to Android Community, reports have been coming in to them saying that it was already available in Canada and have been downloadable in the Netherlands, the UK, and in India. PHIL: Globe CloudFone Ice is made by Huawei
YugaTech was able to see that advertising in a newspaper and was a bit bewildered what Globe have in store for their customers. The ad showed off two smartphone, one with a QWERTY keyboard and the other is an all touch smartphone. The names, the Globe CloudFone Ice (all touch) and the Globe CloudFone Temptation (QWERTY packing device).

USA: Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G is now available to order from AT&T for $49.99
AT&T's own twist to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, which is available over at Verizon, is the 4G of it all hence, the name, Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4G. AT&T has starting taking orders of the smartphone for only $49.99 with a 2-year contract. The Xperia Play is the world's first and is currently the only PSP certified smartphone. If you ain't liking Verizon's offer for the device, then AT&T with their 4G network would be your other option.

USA: [Update] Samsung officially gives the Galaxy Tab 8.9 WiFi a price
Samsung USA officially gives the Galaxy Tab 8.9 an official price tag. The Korean giant is selling the 16GB and the 32GB version of the tablet that is running on Android 3.1 Honeycomb right out from the box. The dedicated webpage of the device is still saying coming soon. For the pricing, the 16GB version will is priced at $469 and the 32GB at $569, both are the WiFi only variant.

Verizon has announced their latest, newest, most affordable 4G LTE enabled Android smartphone ever, the Pantech Breakout. Priced at just $99.99 (after a $50 mail-in rebate) will be available starting September 22. LG intros the Optimus Q2 - coming to South Korea next week
LG unveiled a smartphone that will add up to their existing Optimus line of devices. The smartphone, which is bound to be launched in South Korea by next week is named as the LG Optimus Q2. The device will be running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be sporting LG's own IPS display technology with 700nit of brightness, that's a lot!

Samsung is reported to launch the Wave 3 in October
According to a report by Sammy Hub, Samsung have announced that their latest and newest Bada flagship smartphone, the Wave 3, will be launched in the month of October. Samsung, announced this during a Bada event in India but unfortunately they did not indicate which markets will get the Wave 3 first or the exact date. Anyway, as a refresher the Wave 3 runs on Bada 2.0 and sports a 4" WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen display, a 1.4GHz processor, a 5MP rear facing camera, VGA front, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

USA: Boost Mobile's Samsung Transform Ultra is "coming soon"
Boost Mobile, Sprint's no-contract brand, announced the Samsung Transform Ultra. The smartphone has it's own dedicated page on the carrier's website and it says, "coming soon".
