UK: 3G-enabled Sony Tablet S now available for £449

For those who are in the UK, the Sony Tablet S 3G-enabled version of the tablet is now available for only £449. For that price the tablet you'd be getting includes a 16GB internal storage capacity. The Tablet S runs on Android Honeycomb and sports a 1GHz nVidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 5MP rear facing camera. Sony Australia is now accepting pre-orders of their uniquely designed Tablet S which was christened with it's newer name back in September. The Tablet S is also already up for pre-order in the US and so too in the UK, today, Sony Australia joins in the band wagon.

USA: Sony's Tablet S is now available for pre-order at Amazon or from Sony for $499

Yes, the recently announced and the uniquely designed Tablet S (device specs) from the Japanese company, is now available for pre-order from Amazon and from Sony. Both are offering the same price from the device with the 16GB carrying the price tag of $499 and the 32GB with a $599 price tag. Amazon is saying that the tablet will be shipped starting September 16th, which means, and if they really ship it on that day, that the tablet will be ahead of it's expected launch day. Sony first said that the tablets will be available in November, so September 16 is a much interesting launch date.

Sony, during a press event yesterday (Aug. 31st) announced the market launch of their two new tablet devices. Before these were known as the Sony S1 and S2, but they decided to change the names to Sony Tablet S and P. The Tablet S is already up for pre-order and should hit store shelves by the end of September. With pricing, the Sony Tablet S has a 16GB and 32GB variant and will cost about $499.99 and $599.99, respectively. The Sony Tablet P, on the other hand will be available by November of this year. No pricing was announced regarding the Tablet P yet.
