UK: The Samsung Galaxy Beam now available in the UK

Thanks to retailer Expansys, the Samsung Galaxy Beam is now available in the UK for £394.99. The Samsung Galaxy Beam was announced way back then. Actually it was at MWC 2012 that the device was unveiled by Samsung. Anyway, for those of you who would love to own one head over at Expansys and order yours now. The Galaxy Beam's unique feature is that it can project your media via an HD projector that is 50" wide. UK: Clove UK puts the Samsung Galaxy Beam on pre-order

Clove UK has officially put the Galaxy Beam on pre-order and is pricing the device at £454.80 (VAT inclusive). For those of you who wants to own an Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone with a built-in projector for sharing content from your phone, then the Galaxy Beam is the phone for you. MWC 2012: The Samsung Galaxy Beam is reborn

About two or so years ago, Samsung launched, in Singapore, the Samsung Galaxy Beam. Apparently, it was not launched in the global market, probably because it really did not really penetrate the market much. Today, Samsung is announcing to the world, the Samsung Galaxy Beam. It might carry the same name as the old one but surely it does not share the same design, specs, and whatnot. The device will be showcased in Barcelona during MWC 2012. So, what's with the "beam" all about? As you can see in the photo above, it sports a projector, for sharing videos, photos, and content with friends or whoever.

Samsung i5510 official specs - Android 2.2 Froyo

This is the Samsung i5510 or Samsung Galaxy 551, and nope it ain't a Galaxy S. This will be along side with Sammy's Galaxy line of Android smartphones. It will be a mid-range Android phone. Since it's mid-range phone, it will not have the superb specs that the Galaxy S family have. But don't be deceived with the mid-range of it all, it still packs good specs underneath its casing.

Samsung Galaxy Beam won't get an Android 2.2 upgrade

The Samsung Galaxy Beam did not receive that Galaxy S-like hype hence, the spotlight was turned off on this device. This smartphone which runs on Android 2.1 is only available in Singapore, though.  Just a quick overview on what this Galaxy Beam is. I think, its not a Galaxy S, but it is the world's first and only smartphone with a projector. That's cool, but unfortunately it wasn't treated by Sammy the right way it deserves.
