LG, days prior to IFA 2013, has announced the world's first 8-inch tablet that boasts a Full HD display. Dubbed as the LG G Pad 8.3, the device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will sport an apparent 8.3" inch display that boasts WUXGA (1920x1200_ screen resolution. According to LG's press release, they will be showcasing this tablet at the event in Berlin, Germany and will eventually be rolled out to markets later on. Other things include a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5MP rear shooter, a 1.3MP front, and a 4,600 mAh battery.
The tablet also sports LTE connectivity and some other cool features that LG has in store like the QSlide (controls up to three different apps in one window with no interruption, especially convenient on a large screen), Slide Aside (enables seamless multitasking by simply “sliding” currently open apps off to the side using a three-finger swipe), and KnockON (turns the device on and off by tapping the display twice).
