Samsung's Unpacked event postponed out of respect to Steve Jobs

The supposedly scheduled Samsung Unpacked event in October 11 during CTIA 2011 in San Diego, California, is postponed to a day and venue we still do not know of. Samsung has released an announcement that they will be moving the said event and that they "will announce a new date and venue in due course." Furthermore, Samsung said that "both parties [Samsung and Google] have agreed that this is not the appropriate time for the announcement of a new product." Whatever the reason behind this postponed event,  if it is really just a delay in the production of the device to be unveiled or if the reason is to respect the passing of one of the world's greatest person to ever walk on it, Steve Jobs, then it is accepted and appreciated.

The Business Insider was able to get a statement from a Google spokesperson which confirms the latter reason. He went like this: "We believe this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world expresses tribute to Steve Jobs's passing."
