Sony Ericsson to showcase 20 Xperia Play optimized games at E3

Sony Ericsson have partnered with Gameloft to showcase 20 games optimized for the Xperia Play during the "world's leading games expo, E3, June 7-9". When the world's first PlayStation Certified smartphone was launched it towed with it a few games here and there and for a gaming smartphone to be a true gaming device, it needs to have a lot of titles for customers to choose from. Hence, this news.

  • Minecraft™ by Mojang
  • Battlefield Bad Company 2 by Electronic Arts
  • Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Shadow Vanguard by Gameloft
  • Desert Winds by Southend Interactive
  • Ruined by Bigpoint
  • Icebreaker™ by NaturalMotion
  • Sleepy Jack by SilverTree Media
  • Cracking Sands by Polarbit
  • Armageddon Squadron 2 by Polarbit
  • An unnamed fighting game from Khaeon Gamestudio
And the new games coming to the Xperia Play:

With regards to the games' availability Sony Ericsson's PR said that those games will be available "within the coming months".
