I do not know if you will be taking this news as something good or something bad. First, is that Samsung announced via a tweet (see photo after the break) that the global launching of the next iteration of the most popular Android device (Galaxy S I) will be delayed until June. The received the world's spotlight during it's unveiling at the Mobile World Congress 2011 where Samsung demoed all it's features and capability. Also this will be Samsung's first dual-core powered smartphone and yet it is still not available anywhere in the world today.
So, we ask, why in the world is it taking long for the South Korean giant to launch their first ever superphone to the market? They say it's because of a hardware last-minute-change-of-mind. Samsung thought that the 1GHz dual-core processor they announced that the phone will be sporting is just not enough for this superphone. Also, reports say that this will only apply to their own Samsung Exynos processor which brings us to another question. What will happen to those Galaxy S II devices that will sport nVidia's Tegra 2 processors? Well, I do not have any idea about but I do hope that nVidia and Samsung can find a way with regards to this hardware change.
The hardware change will boost or add the Galaxy S II's processing power to 1.2GHz dual-core awesomeness. This is supported by Samsung Estonia's photo caption on their Facebook page.
Due to this hardware change the phone will be delayed and the launching is expected to be "before June". I do not know if I should be happy with this news. What do you think about this guys?
