[Local] Globe to cap broadband usage to 1GB per day

Globe Telecom have announced that they will be capping their broadband usage to just 1GB per day. The announcement and this decision is a response to those who download too much from the internet. The company cited that this will give users a much consistent, uninterrupted, and a reliable internet service to it's subscribers.

Capping in an industry that promises unlimited internet service is an irony. It wouldn't be unlimited if they cap it right? Anyway, the National Telecommunications Commission have already deleted "bandwidth cap" on the memo for the proposed Internet Broadband capping.

Don't tell me if Globe have already made this stuff final. It totally does not go according to the law (If ever that memo ever became one). Is this another stuff the government of the Philippines needs to look on to? If capping is not allowed then why did Globe announce this? Hit the comment box below for your thoughts.
