Leaked photos of the unannounced Sony Ericsson Hallon (MT15) Android smartphone

When Sony Ericsson said that they would want to be the largest smartphone manufacturer to use the Android platform, I think they really mean it. Well it was not really seen when the first Android powered Xperia line was launched and it took them time to give us more Android offerings. Oh well, they really need to step it up not just a notch higher but a whole lot, Samsung and HTC are like offering Android smartphones like there is no tomorrow.

Photos leaked of an unannounce Sony Ericsson Android smartphone have surfaced the tech world. Given the codename, Hallon (MT15), the device resembles the yet yo be announced PlayStation Phone but without the game pad and an actual physical sliding keyboard, so it seems this is going to be another candybar smartphone.

The device is said to be unveiled during MWC 2011 since Sony Ericsson is reported and have actually given out invitataions that a fleet of Xperia handsets will be introduced during the event. What is amazingly unusual about this device is that it sports a large front facing camera giving us the hint that it might support HD video calling.

Just a roll call, we have the PSP Phone, the Xperia X12 and the Hallon that are expected to be unveiled during MWC 2011.
