Samsung announced the world's first tablet to sport the Super AMOLED Plus display - Galaxy Tab 7.7

Aside from announcing the world's biggest smartphone and the first device to ever feature the HD Super AMOLED display - the Galaxy Note, Samsung have also announced the world's first tablet to get the Super AMOLED Plus display, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. Unveiled during their Unpacked event at IFA 2011 in Berlin, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is an eye popper with that brushed metal rear panel. Samsung, in their press release have not mentioned anything about the device's availability and pricing yet. But anyway, head over the break to check out the specs.

I'm stunned when I saw that 8GB LPDDR2 but that is what is in Samsung's press release and I wonder why so big? Anyway, enjoy more photos of the Galaxy Tab 7.7.
