The Samsung Galaxy S III is also launched in the Indian market with an official price of Rs 43,180. For a start only the 16GB version of the device will be available in the second largest mobile phone market in the world. The 32GB, probably a bit of waiting is needed. Anyway, this Galaxy S III will have 1GB of RAM and not that variant of the same device that will sport 2GB. Needless to say, even if it only has the common 1GB RAM, the smartphone will still be able to do its job without any problems.

The Samsung Galaxy S III in the Australian market is making its way to mot of the country's carriers. Vodafone Australia, Telstra, Optus, and Virgin Mobile are all selling the said smartphone at different prices of course. I won't really dwell too much about what the offer is on each carrier. I'll just leave you with links to the carrier's website and you can check what they have to offer yourself, ayt? Just click on the carrier's name: Vodafone Australia, Virgin Mobile, Optus, Telstra.

LG Optimus LTE, Optimus LTE Tag, and the Optimus Vu will get some Android 4.0 ICS update starting June 4
LG will finally start pushing the Android 4.0 ICS update to some of their Optimus line of devices starting June 4. These devices are the LG Optimus LTE, Optimus LTE Tag, and the Optimus Vu. So, what will this update do to your LG device? Well, it will surely make the whole Android experience better and of course that recently announced LG Android overlay which, according to LG, should give its users a better experience. June 4 is the date to remember and if you really can't wait, you might want to manually check if you have the update already. Cheers!
Next is the Sony Xperia Acro S. The Acro S, unlike the Xperia go, has a different and I should say a lower certification when it comes to the device's waterproof and dustproof prowess. But the same idea is their only that the Acro S gets an IP55 and an IP57 rating. The Acro S is also the better when it comes to specs between the two and is the larger. Sony Mobile has been selling the Acro S in the Japanese market back in March and apparently now the smartphone will be available globally. The Xperia Acro S is probably the company's first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich device since it will be running on the said version of the platform right from the box.
Sony Mobile ain't done yet with new phones still spewing out their production line. Two new Android smartphones from the young company has been announced. One is their first waterproof, scratch resistant, and dustproof Android smartphone dubbed as the Sony Xperia go. The smartphone is so tough it actually gets IP67 certification and proof of that toughness can be seen in the smartphone's first promotional video you can watch at the end of this post. The Xperia go will be a globally available device and will launch in the US under the name of the Xperia Advance. Unfortunately, Sony Mobile did not give us any exact dates on when the smartphone will actually be available in markets. But the Xperia go is scheduled to launch in the 3rd quarter of 2012. Lastly, the Xperia go, like all of the NXT line of devices from the company will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is upgradeable to Android 4.0.

The Samsung Galaxy S III is now officially launched in 28 countries across the globe. The smartphone should be available in these 28 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The countries that Samsung have enumerated are the United Kingdom, France, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. This launching is also echoed in the Philippines and in Australia. For pricing, I think it'd be best to check your nearest retailer or network carrier.

The recently announced BlackBerry Curve 9320 is now officially announced in the Indian market. The device has it's SRP in India and it stands at Rs. 15,990. For more information about the specs head over here.
Toshiba officially announced their newest baby in their Android tablet line of devices, the Toshiba AT300. This thin tablet runs on Android 4.0 ICS and is probably the successor to the Toshiba AT200? The AT200, by the way, was Toshiba's thinnest tablet but not this one. At 8.8mm thin, the AT300 still rocks a thin profile and that beautiful aluminum body, this is a tablet that is aimed for those who are design conscious, I think. Pocketlint is pegging the launch date of the tablet sometime in June and will be priced in the UK at £329 for the 16GB and for £379 for the 32GB.
The Taiwan based phone maker has revealed their plans on when to start rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to their whole Android devices (probably not all though). Well the company has officially given us a hint on which devices will actually receive some Ice Cream Sandwich love. According to reports too, HTC is currently pushing Android 4.0 ICS to it's Sensation line of devices (Australia). Anyway, if you don't own any of the Sensations, head over the break to check when your HTC will get the update. Cheers!

RIM has officially launched the BlackBerry Curve 9220 and 9320 smartphones in the Philippines. These two devices are touted to be the company's most affordable smartphone ever or probably for the Curve line. These two devices was first introduced by RIM back in May and now in the Philippines, they now have a price to carry with. The main difference between the two models are the camera and the capability to connect to a 3G network. Of course the Curve 9320 is superior over the 9220 so it gets the higher camera sensor and the 3G capability. For pricing the Curve 9220 is priced at Php 9,990 and the Curve 9320 at Php 11,990.
As promised, both Globe and Smart have already started taking pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S III. They both started it yesterday (May 23) and so far, it is only Globe who has revealed the plans or postpaid plans that you can bundle with the device. Of course, by that we will know which plan will make the smartphone free. Anyway, before I go there, here are the links to the carrier's pre-order pages: Smart and Globe. By the way, Smart says that the device should start shipping by June. Globe on the other hand makes no saying on when the device will arrive.
Clove UK has announced that they already received the stocks of the LG Optimus L7. The L7 is one of the L series of Android smartphones. Anyway, Clove UK is offering the LG Optimus L7 for £238.80 (VAT inlcuded) unlocked. For those of you in the UK that wants to own one, head over at Clove UK to check out the offer. As a refresher, the LG Optimus L7 runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and sports a 4.3" display with a 1GHz processor. This is a decent Android device for those who are on a budget and it is probably categorized as a mid-range device.

The Nokia Lumia 900 was officially launched by no other than the Finnish phone maker themselves in the Philippines. The Lumia 900 is the largest Windows Phone device that the company has introduced and went on sale first in the US via AT&T. For the Philippines though, it was just launched and is given an SRP of Php 27,990. Not bad for a giant. For the device's specs, head over here.
The Samsung Galaxy S III has gone up for pre-order in the US via Amazon. Unfortunately though, it's the international Galaxy S III that was showcased back in MWC 2012. What that means is that the device Amazon is letting you pre-order is the one that sports the Samsung Exynos quad-core chipset which further means that it will not work with the 4G LTE network that almost all US carrier have. Samsung has announced back in MWC 2012 that the US will get their own Galaxy S III specifically designed to work with the country's LTE network. You can head over at Amazon and check it out for yourself. The device is available in either Blue or White.
Samsung India has officially put two Android devices for pre-order on their Samsung eStore. These devices are the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and the Samsung Galaxy S III. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is priced by Samsung at Rs. 23,250 and that is for the 3G + WiFi version of the device and sports 8GB of internal storage. The Galaxy S III on the other hand is priced over at the same eStore at Rs. 2000. That probably is a typographical error on their part of I do not know what.

Clove UK also confirmed that the device will start shipping on May 24th.

Vodafone Australia has announced on their blogsite that the carrier will start to roll out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the HTC Sensation, Senastion XL, and the Sensation XE come May 22nd. You can head over at Vodafone Australia's blogsite to check find more information regarding the status of the update.
LG has introduced their new user interface for their Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich devices. Well, at least now, LG is already in the UI competition of it all. I don't know about you but LG, with their previous devices prior to Android 4.0 ICS, was not clear about their UIs or better known as the Android overlay or better still Android Skins. Back then, LG's UIs on devices were different with ever handset they introduce. I hope that this announce will finally make it more uniformed and that by simply looking at the UI, we will immediately recognize the device as an LG.
Globe is not going to be slow when it comes to launching the Galaxy S II for sure. Smart has already announced that they will be starting to accept pre-orders of the Galaxy S II on May 23rd so what does the 2nd carrier in the country has to say about that? Anyway, for those who wants to get the Galaxy S III over at Globe rather than via Smart, head over to this link: http://globe.com.ph/galaxys3. Currently, you really can't do anything on that page aside from looking at that beautiful photo of the phone. You might want to bookmark that page and when May 23 comes, you can then pre-order it online.

Sony Mobile Communications has confirmed that their newest flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia S, will get it's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in late May or in early June. The company has already been updating and updating their customers on when the Android 4.0 update will start arriving and up to know, that has yet to happen. Other mobile makers are currently busy in pushing and Sony seems to be a bit late in this department, the updates. They were the first to push Android 2.3 Gingerbread on their older lines of device, back then when they were still Sony Ericsson. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed with this one though. Everyone who bought a Sony smartphone wants their devices to be up to date and at par with the others, right?

What do we have here? Well, Google has officially released Chrome 19 which brings in a new very cool feature into the browser. I heard about this feature when Google put it into beta and boy was I excited for it to come to the stable world. Today is that day. Google Chrome can now be updated to version 19 (or to be more specific, version 19.0.1084.46). What this features does is it practically allows you to keep your tabs. Ok that is a bit broad but take for example your on your desktop and then found this great place while browsing and decided you wanna go there later. When you went out, you forgot the name of the place or where it is. That is not a problem, simply get your Android device, open up Google Chrome for Android and tap on the "Other devices" menu on a new tab and viola, you'd find that exact page where you left off back at home. Ok, you can actually just watch a video below to really get what this feature is about. Go ahead and update your Chromes now by clicking through Settings > About Google Chrome > wait for it to download and install the update. You also need the Chrome for Android Beta in order to get this feature on your Android device.
T-Mobile USA will start of rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the HTC Sensation 4G starting May 16. But if you do not, tap through Settings > About Phone > HTC Software Updates > Check. This probably is the quickest announced Galaxy device that will then eventually come into the market. Anyway, for those who are interested in pre-ordering the smartphone over at Smart, you should look out for this link to come alive, http://smart.com.ph/galaxys3. Right now that link does not land on any page yet, but it should on or before May 23rd. YugaTech, has also received an email from Smart. Unfortunately though, they did not say anything about when the smartphone will start shipping to those who pre-ordered.

After announcing the Samsung Focus 2, the Korean-giant also came with a new Windows Phone device. I really cannot say that this device is superior to the Omnia W because this device has a lower processor, in terms of clock speed. Anyway, the Omnia M, will first be seen in Europe and other market will follow right after. No words yet on how much the device will officially be priced and no word too on where exactly in Europe this device will first make landfall. Anyway, head over the break to check out it's specs.

We all know that the United Kingdom is one, if not the first, of those markets that will get the Samsung Galaxy S III. Three networks carriers in the UK have already started accepting pre-orders of the said smartphone and they are Vodafone UK, Three, and O2 UK. Of course, it will come subsidized by these carriers when you get it from them requiring you to commit and stick with the carrier until a certain number of years. For those who are in the UK, head over to Vodafone, Three, and O2 to check out what they have in store for you. As always, they will fight it out to who has the better offer over the other, so you better check out which of these networks have the better package. Enjoy!
Over at Twitter, the Philippines' two network carriers have this Galaxy S III twitter war. Globe and Smart have initiated their own tweets that contain the hashtag #GlobeGalaxyS3 and #SmartGalaxyS3. Both networks have tweeted that soon or somewhere around the time the Samsung Galaxy S III is launched in the Philippines, these carriers will be offering them. We have no dates yet so we will have to wait when that actually happens. Anyway, check out some screenshots that I have from these carriers, one very interesting tweet is from Smart, who tweeted a black and white version of the Galaxy S III.
Opera has released a minor (but actually is a bit on the "major" side) of their desktop browser. Opera 11.64 brings in a lot of bug fixes and a better browsing experience. But basically, this update is here to bring in security updates. Opera recommends while I require all of those who have Opera to update. We don't want to get any security fails when we browse the world wide web right? So go ahead an update now.

Canadian smartphone maker, Research In Motion, has probably announced their most affordable BlackBerry. Dubbed as the BlackBerry Curve 9320/9220, this new smartphone will apparently add up to the company's Curve line of devices. Before I say anything more, I kind of like the device's design. It's curvy, of course, but on the manly side of it all. Not to mention the metallic material that surrounds the facade of the device. The Curve 9320/9220 is aimed to those who are inclined with BBM or other social networking sites. The device actually has a dedicated BBM key! Within RIM's press release, no word about pricing nor when the device will actually launch is present. They just said this, "Pricing and availability of the BlackBerry Curve 9320 will beannounced in conjunction with RIM’s distribution partners."

Aside from announcing the Xperia SX, Sony also announced another smartphone that is also specifically made for the Japanese market. Named as the Sony Xperia GX, the smartphone packs a 13MP Exmor R camera on it's behind and like the Xperia SX, is 4G capable. The two phones are both touted to be launched in Japan in summer. Anyway, the Xperia GX's curve rear reminds me of one of the most beautiful smartphones ever made, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc but the GX just bear that hump for the camera sensor.

Anyway, if you want to get a load of what he phone packs then head over here. To pre-order your Evo 4G LTE, head over to Sprint.
